Every year when November rolls around, I start thinking about all of the things that I’m thankful for and what fun thank you gift ideas I can give this year. While I am so thankful for the big blessings in my life like my amazing family, a roof above my head, and my faith, this year I’ve decided to focus on the little things and people who often get forgotten or overlooked. And as part of that goal, I am going to give these fun little thank you gifts to the people who give extra in my life.
It may not be much but as my way of saying thanks to those people, I am going to give them packs of Extra Gum with free printable gift tags I made telling them why they deserve to get a little extra thanks this year.
All I did to make them was tie some of my favorite baking twine around the packs of Extra Gum like ribbon then taped the free printable tags on like gift bows. Easy peasy.

Unlike the random acts of kindness that I know a lot of people do, my little gifts aren’t going to be random; they’re going to be deliberate. I’ve put together a list of some of the people who have really helped me in the past year as I’ve made the transition to being a stay-at-home mom.
The person who has welcomed me and supported me in everything I’ve done the past year by coming to my parties, watching K, and just letting me talk when I need a friend.
The person at the local office supply store who has gone the extra mile every time I need printable designs printed for one of my parties.
The person who has proven me wrong every single time I tell my husband that if I don’t text any of my friends for a week that none of them will text me. And I believe her when she says that she misses hanging out with me.
And the neighbor who always smiles at me when we pass on our way to the mailbox even though we’ve never had a real conversation.
And all of the other people who shape my life every single day with their friendship, smiles, hard work, and extra-ordinary attitudes. Those are the people that I’m thanking this year.
