One of the most frustrating things for me about being a mom is how often my preschooler, K, gets sick. I swear he wakes up coughing or with a runny nose every single week. It’s kind of just becoming normal at this point. I don’t know if it’s because he goes to preschool and there a million germs there or maybe because he’s currently in a phase where he wants to lick everything.

Pretty sure we’re not the only ones who have colds and coughs regularly. We’ve had playdates and parties canceled in just the last week because people came down with the flu and no one wants to spread germs. Totally appreciate it, but it’s still a bummer.

So K and I, we decided it’d be fun to make gift baskets for friends who are sick. And out of the blue gift boxes for friends who aren’t.

Honestly, he’s been kind of obsessed with gift baskets ever since we did the Halloween boo buckets for his preschool friends and who am I to complain about him wanting to do nice things for others?

Since most of our friends already have a Vicks humidifier , we made these get well soon gifts with the Vicks menthol and Sleepytime VapoPads (to use with their humidifiers) and other things to make our friends feel better.

And of course, I made free printable gift tags to go along with them. There are eight total tags inspired by some of our favorite Christmas songs, and I still don’t know which one is my favorite.
